Safeguarding at Forest Town Church
What is Safeguarding?
Safeguarding is all about protecting a person's right to live in safety, free from the fear of harm, abuse, and neglect. It’s all the things we do, the actions we take together, which promote the welfare and wellbeing of everyone, and reduce the risk of harm and abuse from happening. It’s everyone’s responsibility. Everyone who participates in the life of the Church, whatever our role, can play a vital part in helping to create and promote a safer space for all.
At Forest Town Church we aim to foster an environment where everyone can feel safe, seen and known. We are committed to the safeguarding of children and adults with care and support needs, ensuring their well-being. We are also committed to implementing and regularly reviewing our policies and procedures to ensure we are following statutory and specialist Safeguarding guidelines.
